Sage Pork Chops
Bacon-Roasted Brussels Sprouts
Ingredients
- 2 bone-in pork loin chops
- 1 Tbsp avocado oil
- 1 tsp dry rubbed sage
- ¼ tsp garlic salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
Instructions
- Rub pork with ½ Tbsp oil; sprinkle with sage, garlic salt, and pepper.
- Cook in ½ Tbsp hot oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 5 minutes per side or until done.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- ½ onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 slices uncured bacon, cut into ½-inch pieces
- 1 Tbsp avocado oil
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Toss together Brussels sprouts, onion, garlic, bacon, oil, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Spread in an even layer on a rimmed baking sheet.
- Bake 20 to 30 minutes or until Brussels sprouts are tender. Stir together mustard and vinegar; add to Brussels sprouts, and toss.
