Asian Beef Roast

Ingredients
- 1½ lb boneless chuck roast
- 3 Tbsp Chinese five-spice powder
- ½ tsp crushed red pepper
- 1 (14.5-oz) can low-sodium beef broth
- ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Rub roast with five-spice powder and red pepper. Place in a 5- to 7-quart slow cooker; add broth and soy sauce.
- Cover and cook on LOW 10 hours or until tender.
- Shred with 2 forks. Serve beef over Green Onion Rice Noodles recipe. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired.

- 1 (14-oz) pkg rice noodles
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 3 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 lb sugar snap peas
- 3 Tbsp sesame oil
- 1 Tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
Side Dish Instructions
- Cook noodles according to package directions. Toss noodles with olive oil and green onions.
- Cook sugar snap peas in hot sesame oil over medium heat 3 minutes or until crisp tender; sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired, salt, and pepper.
