Pretzel Turtle Trifle
Ingredients
- 1 (3.9-oz) pkg instant chocolate pudding mix
- 1½ cups milk
- 2 (16-oz) pkg frozen pound cake loaves, thawed
- 1 (8-oz) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 3 cups chopped pretzels
- 1 (11.5-oz) jar salted caramel topping
Instructions
- Whisk together chocolate pudding mix and milk in a bowl. Chill to thicken.
- Cut pound cakes into cubes.
- Fold whipped topping into chocolate pudding.
- Spread a layer of pound cake in bottom of a trifle dish. Spoon a layer of pudding over cake. Top with half of chopped pretzels, and drizzle with caramel sauce. Repeat layers once.
- Serve immediately, or chill until ready to serve. This dessert is best served the day it's made. Makes 14 servings.
