15-Minute Green Bean and Pesto Gemelli

Ingredients

  • 2 (8-oz) pkg thin green beans
  • ½ cup pine nuts
  • 3 (8.5-oz) pkg microwavable gemelli pasta (or use rotini)
  • 1 (6-oz) jar pesto
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Microwave green beans according to package directions; slightly cool, and cut beans in half.
  2. Meanwhile, toast nuts in a dry skillet over medium-high heat 3 to 4 minutes or until golden and fragrant, stirring occasionally. Microwave pasta according to package directions.
  3. Toss pasta, green beans, pesto, and cheese in a serving bowl. Serve sprinkled with nuts.
