Baked Spaghetti and Meatballs

Garlic Breadsticks and Baby Carrots

Ingredients

  • 2 (24-oz) jars marinara sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 12 oz spaghetti, broken in half
  • 2 (12-oz) pkg frozen meatballs (see Note)
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg fresh mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup fresh basil leaves

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F; lightly grease a 13- x 9-inch baking dish.
  2. Whisk together marinara sauce, 1 cup water, and Italian seasoning in baking dish.
  3. Add uncooked spaghetti, stirring to coat with sauce. Arrange meatballs over spaghetti.
  4. Cover and bake 50 to 60 minutes, stirring halfway through baking time, until pasta is tender. Uncover, stir again, and top with cheese.
  5. Increase oven temperature to broil. Broil 4 to 5 minutes or until cheese is melted and beginning to brown. Top with basil.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 (6-count) pkg frozen garlic breadsticks
  • 1 (16-oz) pkg baby carrots

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Bake breadsticks according to package directions.
  2. Serve carrots on each plate.
