Ingredients

  • 1½ lb ground beef
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg sliced mushrooms
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 1 (1-oz) envelope Ranch dressing mix
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 (8-oz) carton sour cream
  • ¼ cup butter, softened
  • 6 hamburger buns, split
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook beef, mushrooms, and onion in a large skillet over medium heat until beef is browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet. Stir in Ranch mix, broth, and sour cream. Cook until thoroughly heated and slightly thickened.
  2. Preheat broiler. Spread butter on cut sides of buns. Place on a baking sheet, and broil until toasted.
  3. Spoon beef mixture on buns; sprinkle with cheese. Broil just until cheese is melted.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 (9-oz) pkg salad greens
  • ½ cup grape tomatoes
  • ½ red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 (5-oz) pkg seasoned croutons
  • ½ cup balsamic vinaigrette

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Toss together all ingredients in a bowl just before serving.
