Meat Loaf Burgers with Tomato Gravy

Ingredients

  • ¾ lb ground turkey
  • 1 Tbsp salt-free Montreal steak seasoning
  • 1½ Tbsp olive oil
  • 1½ Tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1½ (14.5-oz) cans fire-roasted diced tomatoes with roasted garlic and onion (see Note)
  • ⅓ cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2¼ tsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Shape ground turkey into 3 patties; sprinkle patties with steak seasoning. Cook patties in a skillet over medium heat to desired doneness. Remove from skillet, and keep warm; wipe skillet clean.
  2. Heat oil in same skillet over medium heat; add flour, and cook, stirring constantly, 2 minutes. Stir in tomatoes and broth; cook, stirring, 2 minutes or until thickened. Stir in Worcestershire.
  3. Return burgers to skillet; cook 1 minute or until thoroughly heated.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 lb small red potatoes, halved
  • 1½ Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 small clove garlic, minced
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ⅛ tsp pepper
  • 2½ cups shredded cabbage
  • 3 Tbsp light raspberry and walnut dressing
  • ⅛ tsp crushed red pepper

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Arrange potatoes in a steamer basket over boiling water. Cover and steam 6 to 8 minutes or until tender. Combine potatoes, oil, garlic, salt and pepper in a bowl; toss.
  2. Toss together cabbage, dressing, and red pepper and in a bowl.
