Meat Loaf Burgers with Tomato Gravy
Red Potatoes and Sweet Spicy Cabbage Salad
Ingredients
- ¾ lb ground turkey
- 1 Tbsp salt-free Montreal steak seasoning
- 1½ Tbsp olive oil
- 1½ Tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1½ (14.5-oz) cans fire-roasted diced tomatoes with roasted garlic and onion (see Note)
- ⅓ cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 2¼ tsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Shape ground turkey into 3 patties; sprinkle patties with steak seasoning. Cook patties in a skillet over medium heat to desired doneness. Remove from skillet, and keep warm; wipe skillet clean.
- Heat oil in same skillet over medium heat; add flour, and cook, stirring constantly, 2 minutes. Stir in tomatoes and broth; cook, stirring, 2 minutes or until thickened. Stir in Worcestershire.
- Return burgers to skillet; cook 1 minute or until thoroughly heated.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 lb small red potatoes, halved
- 1½ Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 small clove garlic, minced
- ¼ tsp salt
- ⅛ tsp pepper
- 2½ cups shredded cabbage
- 3 Tbsp light raspberry and walnut dressing
- ⅛ tsp crushed red pepper
Side Dish Instructions
- Arrange potatoes in a steamer basket over boiling water. Cover and steam 6 to 8 minutes or until tender. Combine potatoes, oil, garlic, salt and pepper in a bowl; toss.
- Toss together cabbage, dressing, and red pepper and in a bowl.
