Turkey Burgers with Garlic-Herb Cheese

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 shallot, finely chopped
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 2 Tbsp almond flour
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • ½ head Bibb lettuce, separated into leaves
  • ½ (6.5-oz) pkg garlic-herb spreadable cheese
  • ½ tomato, cut into 3 slices

Instructions

  1. Combine turkey, shallot, salt, garlic powder, pepper, almond flour, and egg in a large bowl. Shape into 3 patties.
  2. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Grill patties, covered, 5 to 6 minutes per side or until no longer pink.
  3. Arrange lettuce in 3 stacks of 2 leaves each. Top with burgers. Spread cheese on burgers; top with tomato.

  • 1 (12-oz) pkg broccoli florets
  • 1½ Tbsp olive oil
  • ½ Tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • ¼ tsp kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Cook broccoli in hot oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat, turning occasionally, 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from heat; sprinkle with vinegar, salt, and pepper. Toss.
