Ingredients

  • 4 large apples, sliced
  • 3 Tbsp whole wheat flour, divided
  • 3 Tbsp brown sugar, divided
  • 2 tsp apple pie spice (or use cinnamon), divided
  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 1 (5.3-oz) carton fat-free plain Greek yogurt (about ¾ cup)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Toss together apples, 1 Tbsp flour, 1 Tbsp sugar, and 1 tsp apple pie spice in a lightly greased 8-inch square baking dish; spread in an even layer.
  2. Stir together oats, 2 Tbsp flour, 2 Tbsp sugar, 1 tsp apple pie spice, and salt in a large bowl. Cut butter into oat mixture using a pastry cutter or hands until mixture is crumbly.
  3. Spoon oat mixture over apples; bake 35 to 50 minutes or until apples are tender and top is golden. Serve dolloped with yogurt, and, if desired, sprinkled with extra apple pie spice.
