Spiced Pork Chops
Broccoli, Pears, and Mixed GreensIngredients
- 6 (4-oz) boneless center cut loin pork chops
- 2 Tbsp olive oil (or use cooking spray)
- 1 tsp ground allspice
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
Instructions
- Rub pork with oil; sprinkle with allspice, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Cook pork in a nonstick skillet over medium heat 4 to 6 minutes per side or until done.

- 1 lb head broccoli
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1 tsp salt, divided
- 1 tsp pepper, divided
- 3 Tbsp canola oil
- 2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 6 cups spring mix
- 2 pears, sliced
- ½ cup slivered almonds
- 1 cup sweetened dried cranberries
Side Dish Instructions
- Cut broccoli into spears. Steam broccoli in a steamer basket over boiling water 4 to 5 minutes or until crisp-tender. Toss with butter and ½ tsp each salt and pepper.
- Whisk together oil, vinegar, and ½ tsp each salt and pepper in a bowl. Add lettuce, pears, nuts, and cranberries; toss.
