Turkey-Avocado Club Sandwiches
Citrus SlawIngredients
- 1 avocado, mashed
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 8 (1-oz) slices whole-grain bread, toasted
- ½ lb deli-sliced low-sodium turkey breast
- 8 slices center cut bacon, cooked
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 4 green leaf lettuce leaves (optional)
Instructions
- Stir together avocado and lemon juice. Spread avocado over one side of 4 bread slices; layer with turkey, bacon, tomato, lettuce leaves (if using), and remaining bread slices. Cut sandwiches in half diagonally to serve.

- ½ (16-oz) pkg tricolor coleslaw
- 3 green onions, sliced
- 1 large navel orange, peeled and coarsely chopped
- 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- ¼ tsp salt
Side Dish Instructions
- Combine slaw, onions, and orange in a serving bowl. Whisk together oil, honey, lemon zest, lemon juice, and salt. Drizzle dressing over slaw; toss.
