Ingredients

  • 6 Tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp mirin
  • 2 Tbsp ginger paste (from a 4-oz tube)
  • 2 tsp hot chili oil 
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 6 green onions, minced and divided
  • 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 8 (6-oz) grouper fillets
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Place a large rimmed baking sheet in oven while preheating.
  2. Stir together soy sauce, mirin, ginger, chili oil, garlic, and 3 minced green onions in a small bowl.
  3. Carefully remove hot pan from oven; drizzle with vegetable oil. Place fish on pan; brush with soy sauce mixture . Bake 15 minutes (depending upon thickness of fish) or until fish flakes with a fork.
  4. Top with remaining green onions and cilantro.
