Asian Tuna Burgers

Ingredients

  • 4 (5-oz) cans no-salt-added wild-caught albacore tuna, drained
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • ⅓ cup almond flour
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp grated ginger
  • 1 Tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp canola oil
  • 6 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp Sriracha hot sauce
  • 2 tsp dark sesame oil
  • 8 Bibb lettuce leaves
  • 1 English cucumber, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Mix together tuna, eggs, almond flour, onions, ginger, and soy sauce in a large bowl; shape into 4 patties.
  2. Cook patties in hot oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat 4 to 5 minutes per side or until browned and firm.
  3. Meanwhile, mix together mayonnaise, Sriracha, and sesame oil in a small bowl. Serve burgers in lettuce leaves with cucumber and mayonnaise mixture.
