Chicken Parmesan Baked Ziti

Ingredients

  • ½ (16-oz) pkg ziti pasta
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • ¾ lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into ½-inch pieces
  • 1 (24-oz) jar pasta sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shaved Parmesan cheese (or use shredded)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Cook ziti according to package directions; drain and place in a large bowl.
  2. Meanwhile, melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken lightly with salt and pepper; add to skillet, and cook, stirring occasionally, 5 to 6 minutes or until chicken is done. Add to pasta in bowl along with sauce; stir.
  3. Spoon half of pasta mixture into a greased 11-x 7-inch baking dish; sprinkle with half of mozzarella and half of Parmesan. Top with remaining pasta; sprinkle with remaining cheeses.
  4. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until bubbly.
