Jamaican Jerk Beef Lettuce Wraps

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ½ cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp all-natural, sugar-free Jerk seasoning
  • ¼ tsp dried thyme
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp lime juice
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 8 romaine lettuce leaves

Instructions

  1. Cook beef, onion, garlic, Jerk seasoning, and thyme in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 8 to 10 minutes or until beef is browned, stirring to crumble.
  2. Stir in lime juice, salt, and pepper; cook 3 minutes.
  3. For each wrap, stack 2 lettuce leaves; spoon beef mixture into leaves, and top with Pineapple Relish recipe. Roll up to serve.

  • 1 cup diced fresh pineapple
  • ½ cup finely chopped red bell pepper
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 Tbsp lime juice
