Ingredients

  • 1½ lb tuna steaks
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 2 (8.8-oz) pouches microwavable brown rice
  • 3 Tbsp dark sesame oil, divided
  • 1 Tbsp Sriracha hot sauce, divided
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 avocados, sliced
  • 1 English cucumber, sliced

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle fish with salt and pepper. Cook fish, in batches, in 2 Tbsp hot oil in a large cast-iron skillet over high heat 1 to 2 minutes per side. Let stand 1 to 2 minutes; cut into ½-inch cubes.
  2. Microwave rice according to package directions.
  3. Whisk together 1 Tbsp oil, 2 tsp Sriracha, and garlic in a large bowl. Add fish; toss. Whisk together mayonnaise and 1 tsp Sriracha in a small bowl.
  4. Divide rice among 6 bowls; top with fish, avocado, and cucumber. Drizzle with mayonnaise mixture.
