Corn Chip Pie Hot Dogs

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 (15-oz) can tomato sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 (1.25-oz) envelope chili seasoning mix
  • 1 (8-count) pkg all-beef hot dogs
  • 1 (8-count) pkg hot dog buns, split and toasted
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (8-oz) carton sour cream (optional) 
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
  • 2 cups crumbled corn chips (such as Fritos)

Instructions

  1. Cook beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet.
  2. Stir in tomato sauce, broth, and seasoning mix; bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat, and simmer until thickened.
  3. Meanwhile, cook hot dogs according to package directions; place in buns. Top with desired amount of chili, cheese, sour cream, and cilantro (if using). Sprinkle with chips. Serve immediately.

  • 1 (8-oz) container guacamole
  • 1 (11-oz) pkg tortilla chips

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Serve guacamole with chips.
