Peanut Butter and Banana Waffles
Sausage PattiesIngredients
- 2¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 3 Tbsp sugar
- ½ Tbsp baking powder
- ¾ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- ⅓ cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 large eggs
- 4 bananas, sliced
- 1 (8-oz) bottle maple syrup
Instructions
- Whisk togsther flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
- Process melted butter and peanut butter in a blender until combined. Add buttermilk and eggs, process until blended. Add to flour mixture, stirring just until combined.
- Spoon batter onto waffle iron according to manufacturer's directions; cook 2 to 3 minutes or until waffle is done (time will vary). Repeat.
- Divide waffles among 6 plates; top with bananas and syrup.

- Slice sausage, and cook in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat until no longer pink; drain.
