Cheesy Pepperoni Calzones
Easy Caesar SaladIngredients
- 2 (13.8-oz) cans refrigerated pizza dough
- 1 (6-oz) pkg pepperoni
- 1 (15-oz) carton ricotta cheese
- 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup fresh basil leaves
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Unroll pizza dough onto a flat surface. Cut each sheet of dough into 4 squares.
- Arrange pepperoni, ricotta, mozzarella, and basil leaves on one side of each dough square. Fold dough over to completely enclose filling, crimping edges to seal.
- Place calzones on 2 parchment paper-lined baking sheets; brush with beaten egg. Cut 3 slits in top of each calzone to allow steam to escape.
- Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until calzones are golden brown.
