Cheesy Italian Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 (24-oz) jar pasta sauce
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1 (8-oz) carton sour cream
  • 1 (8-oz) can refrigerated crescent rolls

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Cook beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet.
  2. Add pasta sauce, onion powder, and garlic powder; cook until thoroughly heated. Spread mixture in a lightly greased 11 x 7-inch baking dish.
  3. Stir together 1 cup mozzarella cheese and sour cream; spread over beef mixture.
  4. Roll crescent rolls according to package directions; arrange over cheese mixture and sprinkle with remaining 1 cup cheese.
  5. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until browned and bubbly.
