Chicken Pesto Fettuccine

Ingredients

  • ½ (16-oz) pkg fettuccine
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • ¾ lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • ¾ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup pesto

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain well and keep warm.
  2. Meanwhile, melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat; add chicken, season lightly with salt and pepper, and cook, stirring occasionally, until browned.
  3. Add broth, cream, and pesto; bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 6 to 8 minutes or until sauce is slightly thickened and chicken is done. Toss mixture with hot cooked pasta.
