Broiled Steak with Butternut Squash and Green Beans

Ingredients

  • 1 (12-oz) pkg green beans
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil, divided
  • ¾ lb flank steak (or use skirt steak)
  • 2 Tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce (or use a steak marinade)
  • 1 (16-oz) pkg cubed butternut squash

Instructions

  1. Preheat broiler. Toss green beans with 1 Tbsp oil; season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
  2. Place steak on a greased broiler pan; sprinkle with seasoning. Drizzle with 1 Tbsp Worcestershire; rub in lightly with fingers.
  3. Spread out butternut squash on a greased rimmed baking sheet. Drizzle with 1 Tbsp oil. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
  4. Arrange steak on top oven rack and butternut squash on second rack. Broil 8 minutes. Turn steak, using tongs. Drizzle with 1 Tbsp Worcestershire. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Add green beans to butternut squash on pan.
  5. Broil 8 to 10 minutes longer or until steak is desired doneness and vegetables are tender.
  6. Thinly slice steak across the grain. Serve vegetables alongside steak.
