Rosemary-White Cheddar Burgers

Ingredients

  • ½ cup shredded sharp white Cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp chopped fresh rosemary (or use 1 tsp dried crushed rosemary)
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • ¾ lb ground beef
  • ¾ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 large red leaf lettuce leaves
  • 1 tomato, sliced

Instructions

  1. Combine cheese, rosemary, and pepper in a small bowl.
  2. Gently mix together beef, garlic powder, and salt using your hands. Shape into 2 patties.
  3. Preheat grill pan over medium-high heat. Add patties, and cook 6 to 7 minutes per side or until no longer pink, topping with cheese during last 2 minutes of cooking.
  4. Serve burgers in lettuce leaves with tomato slices; sprinkle with additional fresh rosemary, if on hand.

  • ½ lb Broccolini
  • ½ Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp water
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Cook Broccolini in hot oil in a skillet over medium-high heat 4 to 5 minutes or until lightly browned.
  2. Stir in garlic; cook 1 minute. Add water; cover and cook 2 minutes or until water is evaporated and Broccolini is tender. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
