Melon and Marinated Mozzarella Skewers

Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
- 3 Tbsp chopped fresh basil
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- ½ tsp pepper
- 1 (8-oz) pkg mozzarella pearls
- 1 small cantaloupe, peeled and seeded
- 1 pint blackberries
- Balsamic glaze (optional)
Instructions
- Whisk together oil, basil, garlic, and pepper in a resealable plastic bag; add cheese. Seal bag, and refrigerate at least 4 hours or up to 2 days.
- Cut cantaloupe into balls using a rounded measuring spoon or a melon baller.
- Drain marinade from cheese balls.
- Skewer cantaloupe balls, 1 to 2 cheese balls, and blackberries on small wooden skewers. Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving, if desired.
