Sweet and Spicy Chicken Wings
Baked Sweet Potatoes and Celery Sticks with RanchIngredients
- ¼ cup packed brown sugar
- 1 chipotle chile pepper in adobo sauce, seeded and chopped
- 1 Tbsp adobo sauce
- 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 tsp olive oil
- ½ tsp seasoned salt
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 lb chicken wings
- ½ cup low-sodium chicken broth
Instructions
- Stir together sugar, pepper, adobo sauce, vinegar, oil, seasoned salt, and garlic in a large bowl; add wings, tossing to coat.
- Arrange wings in a lightly greased 5- to 7-quart slow cooker; add broth.
- Cover and cook on LOW 6 to 8 hours.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 6 sweet potatoes
- ¼ cup butter
- 3 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 bunch celery, cut into sticks
- 1 cup Ranch dressing
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Prick potatoes several times with a fork, and place on a large rimmed baking sheet.
- Bake 1 hour or until very tender. Split potatoes and top with butter and sugar.
- Serve with celery sticks and Ranch for dipping.
