Sticky Garlic Chicken

Sesame-Green Onion Rice and Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 1½ lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cubed
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 6 Tbsp honey
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 Tbsp rice vinegar
  • ¼ tsp crushed red pepper
  • 3 Tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Cook chicken in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 8 minutes or until browned.
  2. Meanwhile, stir together honey, soy sauce, garlic, vinegar, and red pepper. Add sauce to skillet, stirring to coat chicken. Reduce heat to medium, and cook 3 to 4 minutes or until chicken is done and sauce is thickened. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 3 (3.5-oz) pouches boil-in-bag brown rice
  • 2 Tbsp sesame oil
  • ½ tsp salt, divided
  • 3 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 (12-oz) pkg broccoli florets

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Cook rice according to package directions. Transfer hot cooked rice to a bowl; stir in oil, ¼ tsp salt, and onions.
  2. Cook broccoli according to package directions. Sprinkle with ¼ tsp salt.
