Simple Salisbury Steak and Gravy
Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes and Steamed Peas
Ingredients
- ¾ lb ground beef
- ¼ cup panko breadcrumbs
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp garlic salt
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 1 (12-oz) jar beef gravy
Instructions
- Stir together beef, breadcrumbs, onion powder, garlic salt, and egg in a large bowl. Shape mixture into 2 patties.
- Cook patties in a skillet over medium-high heat 5 minutes per side or until no longer pink in centers.
- Meanwhile, heat gravy according to package directions. Divide patties among 2 plates; spoon gravy over patties.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 lb Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 3 Tbsp butter
- ¼ cup milk
- ½ (12-oz) pkg frozen green peas
Side Dish Instructions
- Place potatoes in a large saucepan; add cold water to cover. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat; reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
- Drain and return to pot. Add butter and milk. Mash to desired consistency with a potato masher. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook peas according to package directions; season with salt and pepper to taste.
