Flat Iron Steak and Broccoli

Ingredients
- 1½ lb flat iron steak (see Note)
- 5 cups broccoli florets (or use frozen florets)
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1½ Tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 1 cup beef broth
- 3 Tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
- Thinly slice steak across the grain; set aside.
- Bring 1 inch water to a boil in a large saucepan; add broccoli. Simmer 5 minutes. Drain.
- Cook steak in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add broccoli, garlic, salt, and pepper; sauté 2 minutes.
- Combine broth, soy sauce, and cornstarch in a small bowl, stirring with a whisk. Add broth mixture to skillet; bring to a boil, and cook 1 minute or until slightly thickened. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve with additional soy sauce.

- 2 (12-oz) pkg frozen riced cauliflower (see Note)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 Tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- ½ tsp pepper
Side Dish Instructions
- Cook cauliflower and garlic in hot oil in a large skillet 5 minutes, stirring often, until cauliflower is crisp-tender. Stir in salt and pepper; cook 1 minute.
