Brown Sugar Flank Steak
Rosemary Mash and Green BeansIngredients
- ½ cup packed brown sugar
- ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic
- 1½ lb flank steak
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
Instructions
- Whisk together sugar, vinegar, oil, Worcestershire, and garlic in a bowl. Rub sugar mixture all over steak. Let stand 10 to 15 minutes.
- Preheat broiler. Sprinkle steak with salt and pepper. Broil 4 to 5 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Let stand 5 to 10 minutes before slicing across the grain.

- 1 (32-oz) pkg refrigerated mashed potatoes
- 2 Tbsp butter, cut up
- 1 Tbsp chopped fresh rosemary
- 1½ tsp salt, divided
- 1½ tsp pepper, divided
- 2 (12-oz) pkg green beans
Side Dish Instructions
- Cook potatoes according to package directions. Stir in butter, rosemary, and ½ tsp each salt and pepper. Garnish with additional chopped rosemary, if desired.
- Meanwhile, cook green beans according to package directions. Toss in a bowl with 1 tsp each salt and pepper.
