One-Pot Italian Tortellini

Ingredients

  • 1 lb plant-based ground beef
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 (20-oz) pkg refrigerated cheese tortellini
  • 1 (24-oz) jar roasted garlic pasta sauce
  • 1¾ cups water
  • ½ cup freshly shredded Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook plant-based beef, garlic, and Italian seasoning in a large Dutch oven over medium heat until browned and crumbly; drain, if needed, and return to skillet.
  2. Add tortellini, pasta sauce, and water; bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat, and simmer 5 to 6 minutes or until pasta is tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste, if desired. Serve sprinkled with cheese.
