Barbecue Chicken Spaghetti Pizza

Ingredients

  • ½ (16-oz) pkg spaghetti
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 5 slices fully-cooked bacon
  • ½ lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Cook spaghetti according to package directions; drain well.
  2. Beat egg in a large bowl; stir in spaghetti and ½ cup cheese. Press mixture in an even layer on a greased pizza pan, and season lightly with salt and pepper. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until browned.
  3. Meanwhile, heat bacon according to package directions; chop.
  4. Pound chicken to an even thickness in a zip-top plastic bag using the heel of your hand or a meat mallet; season lightly with salt and pepper.
  5. Cook chicken in hot oil in a large skillet over medium heat 5 to 6 minutes per side or until done. Remove from skillet; thinly slice.
  6. Spread barbecue sauce over baked spaghetti; top with chicken, bacon, and 1½ cups cheese.
  7. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.

  • 1 Gala apple, cored and sliced
