BLT Steak Salad with Blue Cheese Dressing

Ingredients

  • 2 slices bacon
  • ¾ lb top sirloin steak
  • 1½ tsp olive oil
  • 1½ tsp Montreal steak seasoning
  • 1 (9-oz) pkg chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1 cup grape tomatoes
  • ¼ cup refrigerated blue cheese dressing 

Instructions

  1. Cook bacon in a cast-iron skillet over medium heat 6 to 8 minutes or until crisp. Remove bacon from skillet, reserving 1 Tbsp drippings in skillet. Crumble bacon.
  2. Rub steak with oil and seasoning; cook in drippings 5 to 6 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Let steak stand 5 minutes; cut into 1-inch cubes.
  3. Combine lettuce, tomatoes, and bacon in a bowl. Top with steak; drizzle with dressing.
