Baklava Wonton Bites
Ingredients
- 24 wonton wrappers
- ½ cup roasted, salted pistachios
- ½ cup roasted, salted almonds
- ½ cup chopped pecans
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- ⅛ tsp grated nutmeg
- 2 Tbsp honey
- ¼ cup water
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- Honey, for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F. Place wonton wrappers in a single layer on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
- Process nuts, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a food processor until finely ground. Stir in honey until mixture holds together.
- Spoon about 2 tsp nut mixture in center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten edges of each wrapper with water.
- Pinch opposite corners of wrapper together over filling; bring up other two corners, and pinch seams together to seal. Brush wontons with melted butter.
- Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until edges of wrappers are golden brown. Drizzle with honey.
