Baklava Wonton Bites

Ingredients

  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • ½ cup roasted, salted pistachios
  • ½ cup roasted, salted almonds
  • ½ cup chopped pecans
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ⅛ tsp grated nutmeg
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • ¼ cup water
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • Honey, for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Place wonton wrappers in a single layer on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
  2. Process nuts, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a food processor until finely ground. Stir in honey until mixture holds together.
  3. Spoon about 2 tsp nut mixture in center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten edges of each wrapper with water.
  4. Pinch opposite corners of wrapper together over filling; bring up other two corners, and pinch seams together to seal. Brush wontons with melted butter.
  5. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until edges of wrappers are golden brown. Drizzle with honey.
