Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • ½ cup blueberries
  • 2 tsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp dried rubbed sage
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • ½ tsp crushed red pepper
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil, divided

Instructions

  1. Gently mix together all ingredients except oil in a large bowl until blended. Shape pork mixture into 8 patties.
  2. Cook patties, in batches, in 1½ Tbsp oil per batch in a large skillet over medium-high heat 4 minutes per side or until centers are no longer pink. Drain on paper towels.

  • ¾ lb thin asparagus, trimmed
  • ½ tsp lemon zest
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ tsp garlic salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 1½ Tbsp lemon juice

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F. Toss together all ingredients except lemon juice on a rimmed baking sheet; spread asparagus in a single layer.
  2. Bake 6 minutes or until asparagus is crisp-tender; drizzle with lemon juice.
