Cheesy Pepperoni Calzones
Easy Caesar Salad
Ingredients
- 1 (13.8-oz) can refrigerated pizza dough
- ½ (6-oz) pkg pepperoni
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 Tbsp fresh basil leaves
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Unroll pizza dough onto a flat surface. Cut dough into 4 squares.
- Arrange pepperoni, ricotta, mozzarella, and basil leaves on one side of each dough square. Fold dough over to completely enclose filling, crimping edges to seal.
- Place calzones on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet; brush with beaten egg. Cut 3 slits in top of each calzone to allow steam to escape.
- Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until calzones are golden brown.
