Bacon Mac and Cheese
Roasted Garlic Broccoli
Ingredients
- 8 slices center cut bacon
- 2¾ cups milk
- 1 cup water
- 8 oz elbow macaroni
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 1½ cups shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat 6 minutes or until crispy. Crumble bacon.
- Meanwhile, bring milk, water, pasta, salt, and pepper to a simmer in a large saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to low, and cook, stirring often, 8 to 10 minutes or until pasta is done and sauce is creamy.
- Remove pan from heat. Stir in cheese until melted; fold in seasoning and bacon.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 2 (12-oz) pkg broccoli florets
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 Tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F. Toss together broccoli, oil, garlic, and seasoning on a large rimmed baking sheet; spread in a single layer. Roast 12 to 15 minutes or until tender.
