Easy Barbecue Brisket

Mashed Potatoes and Steamed Green Beans

Ingredients

  • 2 sweet onions, sliced
  • 1 Tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
  • 3 lb beef brisket, trimmed
  • 1 (18-oz) bottle barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Place onions in a 5- to 7-quart slow cooker.
  2. Rub seasoning on all sides of brisket; place over onions in cooker, cutting brisket in pieces, if necessary. Pour barbecue sauce over brisket.
  3. Cover and cook on LOW 8 to 9 hours or until tender. Slice to serve.

  • 2 (24-oz) pkg refrigerated mashed potatoes
  • 1 (16-oz) pkg frozen green beans
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Prepare potatoes according to package directions.
  2. Cook green beans according to package directions; toss with oil and Italian seasoning.
