Garlicky Fettuccine Alfredo

Ingredients
- 1 (16-oz) pkg fettuccine (or use 2 [9-oz] pkg refrigerated fettuccine)
- 2 Tbsp minced garlic
- ¼ cup butter
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 3 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup chopped fresh parsley (optional)
- Freshly ground pepper
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and keep warm.
- Meanwhile, sauté garlic in melted butter in a large saucepan or skillet over medium heat until fragrant. Stir in cream; cook, whisking, until thick and bubbly.
- Remove from heat; whisk in half of cheese until melted. Add pasta, and toss.
- Sprinkle with remaining cheese and parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.

- 1 (17.8-oz) pkg family-size Caesar salad kit

- Bake breadsticks according to package directions.
- Toss together salad ingredients in a bowl.
