Old El Paso Creamy Salsa Verde Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 lb plant-based ground beef
  • ½ tsp ground cumin
  • ⅓ cup water
  • 1 (15-oz) can black beans, drained and rinsed (or use pinto beans)
  • 1 (15-oz) can corn
  • 1 (12-oz) pkg tortilla chips
  • 1½ cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (2.25-oz) can sliced black olives, drained
  • 1 cup fresh salsa
  • 3 green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat broiler. Cook plant-based beef in a large skillet over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes or until browned. Stir in cumin and water; cook 3 minutes or until thickened. Add beans and corn; cook 3 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
  2. Spread chips on a large rimmed baking sheet. Top with plant-based beef mixture, cheese, and olives. Broil 2 minutes or until cheese melts. Top with salsa and onions.
