Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • ½ (4-oz) can chopped green chiles, drained
  • 2 Tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • ¼ tsp ground cumin
  • ½ Tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Gently mix together turkey, green chiles, cilantro, salt, pepper, and cumin in a bowl until blended. Shape into 3 (½-inch-thick) patties.
  2. Grill patties, covered, on a grill rack coated with oil 6 minutes per side or until no longer pink.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 yellow onion, cut into ½-inch-thick rounds
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil, divided
  • ¼ tsp salt, divided
  • ¼ tsp pepper, divided
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 avocado, coarsely chopped
  • 1½ Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 (5-oz) pkg mixed baby greens

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Brush onion with 1 Tbsp oil; sprinkle with ⅛ tsp each salt and pepper.
  2. Grill onion slices, covered, 4 minutes per side or until browned and tender. Separate into rings.
  3. Process garlic, avocado, lemon juice, 1 Tbsp oil, and ⅛ tsp each salt and pepper in a food processor or blender until smooth.
  4. Toss together onions, greens, and dressing in a large bowl.
