Steak Strips
Pepper-Jack Potatoes and BroccoliWine Recommendation
Dark Horse Cabernet Sauvignon
Ingredients
- 1½ tsp garlic salt
- 1 Tbsp taco seasoning mix
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1½ lb flank steak
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat grill or a large grill pan over medium-high heat. Stir together garlic salt, seasoning mix, and oregano.
- Brush both sides of steak with oil, and sprinkle with spice mixture. Season with salt and pepper.
- Grill, covered, 8 to 10 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Let stand 10 minutes before thinly slicing across the grain into strips. Cut strips in half.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 2 (20-oz) pkg refrigerated diced potatoes with onions
- 1 cup shredded pepper-Jack cheese
- 1 (12-oz) pkg broccoli florets
- 1 Tbsp butter

- Cook potatoes according to package directions. Toss with cheese in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook broccoli according to package directions. Toss with butter in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
