Garlic Sauce Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 2 (4-oz) center cut pork chops
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp butter, divided
  • ½ Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • ½ cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper. Dredge chops in flour, shaking off excess.
  2. Heat 1 Tbsp butter and oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chops 3 to 4 minutes per side or until browned and done. Remove chops from skillet, and keep warm.
  3. Wipe skillet clean. Add 1 Tbsp butter and garlic to skillet over medium heat; cook 1 minute. Add heavy cream; cook 1 to 2 minutes or until slightly thickened. Spoon sauce on pork chops.

  • ⅓ cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 (12-oz) pkg green beans, trimmed
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Toast nuts in a dry skillet over medium heat until fragrant. Combine beans and water in a large skillet; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 3 minutes or until beans are tender. Uncover; cook 3 minutes or until water is evaporated.
  2. Add oil, salt, and pepper; toss. Sprinkle with nuts before serving.
