Beefy Tomato Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ½ (8-oz) block cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (24-oz) jar marinara sauce 
  • 1 (32-oz) carton chicken broth 
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1½ cups small shell pasta 

Instructions

  1. Cook beef in a large Dutch oven over medium heat until browned and crumbly; drain, and return to pot.
  2. Add cream cheese, stirring until melted. Add marinara sauce, broth, and seasonings; bring to a boil, stir in pasta, reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes or until pasta is tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  • 1 (11-oz) can refrigerated breadsticks
