Cheesy French Dip Burgers
Steak FriesIngredients
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 2 onions, thinly sliced
- 1 (32-oz) carton beef broth
- 2 lb ground beef
- 1 Tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
- 6 slices Swiss cheese
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 3 Tbsp prepared horseradish
- 6 hamburger buns, split and toasted
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat; add onions, and cook 10 minutes or until softened, stirring occasionally.
- Increase heat to medium-high, and cook, stirring often, until onions are caramel colored. Add broth, reduce heat to low, and simmer while you make burgers.
- Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
- Stir together beef and seasoning; shape mixture into 6 patties. Grill patties, covered, 5 to 6 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Top with cheese; let stand 1 minute.
- Stir together mayonnaise and horseradish; spread on bottom buns. Serve cheeseburgers on buns with desired amount of onions. Serve remaining broth mixture for dipping.
