Fresh Mozzarella Margherita Pizza
Grilled Balsamic RadicchioIngredients
- ½ Tbsp minced garlic
- ¼ tsp crushed red pepper
- 1½ Tbsp olive oil
- 1 (12-inch) prebaked pizza crust
- 1 (8-oz) ball fresh mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced
- 2 Roma tomatoes, thinly sliced
- ⅓ cup thinly sliced red onion
- 2 Tbsp torn fresh basil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F. Cook garlic and red pepper in hot oil in a skillet over medium heat 1 minute or until fragrant.
- Brush crust with flavored oil; top with cheese, tomatoes, and onion.
- Bake directly on oven rack 12 to 15 minutes or until crust is golden. Top with basil.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 head radicchio
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- 1 Tbsp vegetarian balsamic vinegar
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat grill pan to medium-high heat. Remove outside leaves of radicchio; discard. Quarter radicchio; brush cut sides with oil, and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Grill, covered, 4 to 6 minutes per side or until slightly charred. Drizzle with vinegar.
