Ingredients

  • 6 ground beef patties
  • ¾ tsp salt, divided
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 6 slices pepper-Jack cheese
  • 6 hamburger buns
  • 1 (9-oz) bottle creamy queso sauce
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • ½ red onion, sliced
  • 2 avocados, sliced
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro leaves

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Sprinkle patties with ½ tsp each salt and pepper. Grill, covered, 5 to 6 minutes per side or until no longer pink.
  2. Top each patty with 1 slice cheese; let stand 1 minute or until melted. Grill buns, cut sides down, 1 minute.
  3. Serve burgers on buns with queso sauce, tomatoes, onion, avocado, and cilantro.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp butter
  •  2 Tbsp honey
  • 2 (10.8-oz) pkg frozen gold and white corn
  • ½ (8-oz) block cream cheese, cut into pieces

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Melt butter and honey in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add corn; cook 8 to 10 minutes, stirring often.
  2. Add cream cheese. Cook 3 to 5 minutes, stirring often. Season generously with salt and pepper. Serve hot.
