Chicken Pot Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 (16-oz) pkg frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 (12-oz) pkg frozen seasoning blend (diced onion, bell peppers and celery)
  • 2½ lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
  • 2 (10.5-oz) cans cream of chicken soup
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tsp poultry seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 (16.3-oz) can refrigerated biscuit dough

Instructions

  1. Combine vegetables and seasoning blend in a 5- to 7-quart slow cooker. Top with chicken.
  2. Whisk together soup, water, poultry seasoning, and garlic in a bowl; pour over chicken. Cover and cook on LOW 7 to 8 hours or until chicken is done.
  3. Bake biscuits according to package directions.
  4. Divide biscuits among plates; top with chicken mixture.

  • 1 (10-oz) pkg chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 1 cucumber, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup Italian dressing

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Toss together all ingredients just before serving.
