Bacon Mac and Cheese
Roasted Garlic Broccoli
Ingredients
- 3 slices center cut bacon
- 1 cup milk
- ⅓ cup water
- 3 oz elbow macaroni
- ⅛ tsp salt
- ⅛ tsp pepper
- ½ cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- ¼ tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Cook bacon in a skillet over medium-high heat 6 minutes or until crispy. Crumble bacon.
- Meanwhile, bring milk, water, pasta, salt, and pepper to a simmer in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to low, and cook, stirring often, 8 to 10 minutes or until pasta is done and sauce is creamy.
- Remove pan from heat. Stir in cheese until melted; fold in seasoning and bacon.

- 1 (12-oz) pkg broccoli florets
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- ¼ tsp Italian seasoning
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F. Toss together broccoli, oil, garlic, and seasoning on a rimmed baking sheet; spread in a single layer. Roast 12 to 15 minutes or until tender.
