Bacon Turkey Burgers

Ingredients
- 12 slices fully cooked bacon
- 1½ lb ground turkey (or use ground beef)
- 2 to 3 tsp Montreal chicken seasoning
- 6 slices colby-Jack cheese (or use Cheddar-Jack cheese)
- 6 brioche hamburger buns
Instructions
- Reheat bacon in a large nonstick or cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat 3 to 4 minutes or until crisp, turning once or twice. Drain, reserving drippings in skillet.
- Mix together turkey and seasoning. Shape into 6 patties.
- Cook patties in drippings over medium-high heat 5 minutes per side or until no longer pink in center. Add cheese; let stand 1 minute until melted.
- Serve turkey cheeseburgers on buns with bacon and, if desired, onion rings. Or serve onion rings on the side.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 (16-oz) pkg frozen onion rings
- Ketchup
- 1 (16-oz) pkg strawberries
Side Dish Instructions
- Bake onion rings according to package directions. Serve with ketchup.
- Cut up berries before serving.
