Maple-Mustard Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 6 (6-oz) boneless, center cut pork loin chops
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ cup chicken broth
  • ¼ cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 Tbsp whole-grain mustard
  • 2 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp fresh thyme leaves, divided

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle pork with garlic salt and pepper. Cook, in batches, in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 5 minutes per side or until done; remove from skillet, and keep warm.
  2. Add broth, syrup, mustard, lemon juice, and 2 tsp thyme; bring to a boil, and cook 1 minute, stirring often. Reduce heat to medium, and cook 2 to 3 minutes or until sauce is thickened.
  3. Drizzle sauce over pork; sprinkle with 1 tsp thyme.

  • 2 (12-oz) pkg halved Brussels sprouts
  • 3 Gala apples, sliced
  • ½ cup pecan pieces
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp lemon-pepper seasoning

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Toss together all ingredients on a rimmed baking sheet. Bake 20 minutes or until browned, stirring once after 15 minutes.
